The Dixon Youth League summer recreation league summer softball and baseball program season ended last week with multiple teams completing in Dixie Youth State tournaments. While none of the teams reaching the ultimate goal of advancing to the Dixie Youth World Series, it does not take away from the success of the teams and the program this season.

In the softball division the Dixon 10U Angels X-Play and the 15U Belles both were part of the NC Dixie Youth Softball Tournament in Wilmington NC last weekend. The Dixon Youth League baseball division, the Dixon 12U Allstars, competed in State Tournament in Clarkton NC, the 14U Dixon Allstars traveled to Leland/Town Creek for state tournament play. In the softball division the Dixon 10U Angels X-Play and the 15U Belles both were part of the NC Dixie Youth Softball Tournament in Wilmington NC last weekend.

The Dixon Youth League 8U baseball AllStars also represented Dixon Youth League at the NC Dixie Youth 8U State Tournament.

After a very successful spring/summer season, Dixon Youth League is now having registration for the 2019 fall instructional softball/baseball season.
