Area teams, Trask, Topsail, Pender and Dixon football closed out the year with much success to build on for next fall and the 2023 season.
Topsail Middle School eighth grader Pittman McEwen began participating in youth sports at age 3 and currently is a four-sport athlete in middle school
Pender High School senior Kelvin Robinson, a two-way player on the Patriots football offense and defense team.
North Topsail Elementary fifth grader Mason Jones competes year- round in youth basketball, football, and lacrosse. Mason is also an honor student in school.
Shane Mabberley scored his first touchdown at 5 years old. Many years later as a senior for the Topsail football team, Shane is a wide receiver for the Pirates.
Pender High school Junior Linde Cline has found that proper balance as multi- sport student athlete.
Topsail Elementary fourth grader Jensen Moore began his youth sports experience at age 5 with the Topsail Jr Pirate youth football program.
Topsail High School sophomore Ryan Lambert, a student athlete is meeting the challenges of participating in high school team sports as well as travel team and club sports.
