Topsail Baseball Alum and current Barton College player Petey Frey developed the love and passion for the game of baseball at the age of five. Frey’s dream and journey was not a easy one.
Shayna Frey got involved in cheerleading at four years old. Frey over the years has participated in other sports including softball,baseball,gymnastics and volleyball but her love is for cheerleading.
Tyesha Williams, a Junior outfielder for the Topsail Lady Pirates, has got the job done on the softball field and in the classroom.
Cora Mabrey a four year member of the Topsail Lady Pirate Cheerleading Team. Mabrey a team player is proud of her teams success.
AJ Kemp is a very busy kid. In the fall AJ plays in the Topsail Jr Pirate football program. Kemp plays the quarterback position. In the winter AJ moves to the court participating in the TBA (Topsail Basketball Association) Youth League. In the spring Kemp moves to the field. NFL Youth Flag Football League, Topsail Youth Lacrosse League as well as the Tuna Head Youth Lacrosse team.
Surf City Middle School eighth grader Gracie Mabrey, a two sport athlete for the Lady Sharks developed that commitment at a early age. Gracie, a basketball and softball player at SCMS also plays National Travel Team Softball.
