On August 1 the Topsail Youth Sports area team kicked off the official start to the Fall Sports Season at Topsail and Dixon High Schools. Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Boys Soccer, Girls Tennis, Girls Golf, Cheer Leaders and the Marching Bands have been in full throttle mode the last two weeks. Teams in preparations for the season schedule which gets underway next week for all teams.

The football teams at Dixon and Topsail were scheduled to compete in football Jamboree Scrimmages on Thursday and Friday evening in Jacksonville and Burgaw NC. Unfortunately,  weather conditions forced cancellations of both the Marine Federal Credit Union and the Pender County Touchstone Energy Football Jamboree.

The preseason camps are over and the area teams are now in game week preparations. Next week  the regular season begins. Good Luck!!! to all teams for a great season!!!
