Dixon High School – Cheer Team-State Champions – Competing at Canam Nationals

High School Cheerleading season is nearing a end. Cheerleader season is the longest season going nine to ten months a year. This years teams started training and preparation last June with summer leagues, summer practices and team camps. In August the fall sports season gets underway. Cheerleading is much more than cheering at football and basketball season. Cheer Teams begin practicing for cheer competition in the summer.

It has been a school history making year for the Dixon High School Cheer Team. Dixon Varsity claimed the Coastal 3A Cheerleading Championship at the conference competition. 2021 Coastal Regional Champions. Dixon Cheer for the first time in school history in the NCHSAA Invitationals in December won the State Championship in the Medium Division 1 NT.

Dixon Varsity Cheer will compete in the 2022 Canam Nationals Friday March 18th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
