Topsail Athletics … Freshman … Eli Hebron Dedication And Work Ethic .. In the Classroom .. On The Field And Court .. A Bright Future As Student Athlete

“ It takes dedication, heart, believing in yourself and your abilities to get to where you want to be in life and in sports.”

That’s the words of Topsail High School Freshman Eli Hebron. The multi-sport athlete for Topsail football and basketball follows those traits and beliefs as a “Student Athlete”

Hebron began his involvement in sports at the age of five in Okinawa Japan, playing tackle football.  He found his favorite position of quarterback in the seventh grade at Surf City Middle School and as a eighth grader at Topsail Middle School. Eli as a freshman at Topsail High School was the starting quarterback for the Junior Varsity Pirates Football team.

Hebron began playing basketball at eight years old and started travel basketball in middle school. As a freshman Eli was selected to play on the varsity team for the Topsail Pirates. He was grateful to be part of the varsity team, as the experienced helped him develop and to prepare to play at higher level next season. Eli enjoys the game of basketball, keeps him in shape and improves his footwork during the football offseason.

Work ethic, Hebron works out six days a week, in the weight room as well as doing quarterback and speed and agility training.

Student Athlete, Eli is just as dedicated in the classroom and academics. Hebron has a 4.25 GPA

Eli is also grateful of his parents “I owe everything to my mom and dad, they remind me that I am a student first, they push me every day.” Hold me accountable and are definitely my biggest fans.”
