Topsail High School Sophomore – Ryan Lambert – Multi-Sport Athlete – Excels in the Classroom – Field and Court
Participating in high school athletics, as a student athlete is sometimes challenging for students, balancing academics as well as athletic activities. For the multi-sports athlete, the task is even more challenging. Many high school athletes compete on high teams in different sports, as well other travel and show case teams. Include academics, the student athlete needs to develop time management skills to be successful in the classroom as well as the field or court.
Topsail High School sophomore Ryan Lambert, a student athlete is meeting the challenges of participating in high school team sports as well as travel team and club sports. Lambert is currently on the volleyball court as a member of the Topsail Lady Pirate Volleyball team. She will also in the spring be with the Lady Pirate Soccer Team. If her schedule allows it will also be competing with the Lady Pirate basketball team. In the spring Ryan competes with Topsail Club Beach Volleyball team.
Outside of school sports Lambert competes with Wilmington Hammerheads travel soccer. In the summer, Ryan competes in the Beach Volleyball AVP Junior Series with partner Nya Coury. The Doubles Team competed in the Beach Volleyball Junior Nationals in Hermosa Beach, California. The doubles partners were impressive, finishing 17th out 97 teams competing in the 16U Division.
