Topsail Lady Pirate Softball Rallies Past North Johnston 14-7 In Softball Home Opener

The Topsail Lady Pirate Softball teams bats erupted late in the game. Topsail scored 9 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to claim a 14-7 victory over North Johnston.

Sidney Hartgrove led Topsail with a great night at the plate. Sydney has a  grand slam homerun, a double and single with 5 RBI in the game for the Lady Pirates. Tyesha Williams also finished with 3 hits in the game. Zoey Vincent, Darby Lisk and Annalee Hart each finished with two hits each for Topsail. The Pirates totaled 14 team his in the game.

Addy Howard was the winning pitcher with 7 strikeouts  in seven innings pitched.

Topsail improves to 2-0 on the season and will host Richlands in their next game.
