Topsail Senior Cody Wallis Commitment As Student Athlete Reaches Far and Beyond the Football Field

As in September of 2018 our area is once again facing challenging times with the Coronavirus epidemic. Once again school are closed and all youth and high school sports activities are on hold. In 2018 with Hurricanes Florence our communities came together as one to help each other recover. Our youth from high school to elementary came together and made a major contribution to the effort. Many of our high school student athletes would lead groups on their own.  2020 Senior Cody Wallis was one of the youth that stepped up for his school and community on and off the field.

Topsail Senior Cody Wallis is a true model of what a “Student Athlete” should be. His influence and accomplishments reach far beyond the football field.

Outside of school Wallis  reached the designation of Eagle Scout. A great accomplishment on its own.  Cody was active in FCA  ( Fellowship of Christian Athletes) as well as a Youth Church Group Leader.

Wallis excelled in the classroom as a student athlete . He was a member of National Honor Society. Cody has a cumulative GPA of 4.29 as well as acceptance to Campbell University.
