Welcome to the Daily Blog….. This first edition of the Daily Blog feature on the website. As you have probably noticed the website is online, but we are busy trying to get the structure of the site in order. There is much work to do over the next month before the school sports season and youth and recreation sports season gets underway in August. Topsail Youth Sports Daily facebook page was put together three years ago to give the youth in our area some coverage and recognition. The local media outlets cover high school varsity sports very well. Although, when you get to junior varsity, middle school and youth recreation programs the local media outlets do not have the recourses to cover youth sports.

In May a decision was made to develop the website topsailyouthsportsdaily.com. In the process the decision what made to add the North Topsail, Dixon High, Dixon Middle School, as well as all the youth recreation programs in Sneads Ferry and Holly Ridge to the coverage area.  Topsail High School Topsail Middle School and Surf City and the Middle School, as well as the youth recreation programs in the Hampstead and Surf City areas will continue to be covered. As you probably know, it is a very large task for us and the amount of work to make it happen.  We will get there!! The  goal is to make topsailyouthsportsdaily.com the source for youth sports coverage that will not be found anywhere else.
