North Topsail Elementary School..… AJ Kemp…”Youth Spotlight Athlete”

Most professional, college and high school athletes all had the same beginning in sports. It all begins in youth recreation sports as a young kid. While many play sports for the fun,  for others it is the beginning of many years on the field or court. A young athlete should enjoy the experience of playing multiple sports. It’s not the time for sports specialization as a young athlete.   North Topsail Elementary Fourth Grader AJ Kemp is a multi sport youth student athlete. AJ,  while playing three sports is a honor roll student.

AJ Kemp is a very busy kid. In the fall AJ plays in the Topsail Jr Pirate football program. Kemp plays the quarterback position. In the winter AJ moves to the court participating in the TBA (Topsail Basketball Association) Youth League. In the spring Kemp moves to the field. NFL Youth Flag Football League, Topsail Youth Lacrosse League as well as the Tuna Head Youth Lacrosse team.

In the summer Kemp is also busy attending youth sports camps. AJ has attended Alabama Head football coach, Nick Saban Youth Football  Camp the last two years. Kemp was named to the Saban Youth Camp All-Star Team as a quarterback both years. While attending other summer camps he has a good friendship with Carolina Panthers Luke Kuechly and several other professional players.

AJ  is a very good young athlete and a great kid!! Congrats!! On being named Topsail Youth Sports Daily “YOUTH SPOTLIGHT ATHLETE”
