Topsail High Graduates…NC State Cheerleaders ..Cora Mabrey..Shayna Frey..Set Example for High School..Student Athletes

The balance of academics and athletics can be challenging for high school student athletes. For the student athletes will goals of playing their sport at the college level, have perform at at high level in the classroom as well as on the field or court. Cora Mabrey (2020) and  Shayna Frey(2021) Topsail High School graduates..both had dreams of college cheerleading after high school..With hard work and determination in the classroom and as cheerleaders..had their dreams come true, as NC State University cheerleaders.

At the college level , because of the the complexity of your teams practice schedule as well as class schedule make it even more challenging. Cora and Shayna found the proper balance. Both were named to the NC State University ”Deans List” for the past fall semester.

Cora and Shayna were also   teammates with the Cheer Infinity program for many years.

Mabrey and Frey are both members of the 2019 NCHSAA State Championship team, as well as Tri-County Youth Sports Daily ..High School Spotlight Athletes.

A Great Example!! for all high school student athletes.. Cora and Shayna put the work in…classroom ..and as NC State Cheerleaders.
